How are we quarter of the way through the year already?! Normally around this time of year, I would be replacing some of my makeup for summer colours ready for my awesome tan… instead I am restocking my winter colour foundation and pulling on the hoodies and scarves to keep warm. Then in try British style, it snows,and five minutes later its glorious sunshine! I love this country!

Homeware Haul | B&M

As a serious shopaholic, it's rare to find a shop in town that I haven't been to. After spending so much time at home recently due to being poorly, I finally found the time to have a clear out and make some space in my bedroom. My room is Mums old office, so the hard wood flooring can be quite chilly on my tootsies. I wanted... no, needed a rug!

My favourite shopping partner, Mum, knew she'd seen a rug shop somewhere over by Sainsbury's. Feeling a little deflated after finding an empty warehouse, we turned back to stumble upon B&M. Having heard a few things, I'd built up the assumption that it was a place to buy cheap tack. How wrong was I! Its big brands at small prices... and I bought more than just a rug! (Insert monkey covering eyes emoji here!) Here are a few things I bought that add a little character to my room:

I don't have much floor space in my room, so this rug is the perfect size to fill the main gap.

We Went To The Zoo

As soon as the sun appears in the UK, we head straight outside to make the most of it! The first words that Gareth said to me this morning were "lets go to the zoo!". Living in the Cotswolds has many perks, one of them being that we are only 45 minutes away from the Cotswold Wildlife Park.

We seemed to be in luck today, with the weather, the traffic, and all of the animals! Every time we got to a different animal they'd either start to play or get in the perfect position for a photo! We even witnessed feeding time for the 12ft anacondas, which I'll admit made my skin crawl!

Monthly Favorites | March

This post marks the start of my first 'series' on the blog... My Montly Favourites! Below you will find a selection of things I have been loving this month!

March is almost over, and Spring is here... Yippee! While I love the winter, cold weather, Christmas and high neck jumpers , nothing quite excites me like Spring. The weather (eventually) starts getting warmer, we wear less layers and pastel colours are everywhere! As a month, its been a bit of a weird one. I started my blog, uploaded my first YouTube video & was poorly for almost a fortnight. I have eaten so much chocolate and ice-cream I may explode though I think I can get away with using Easter as an excuse for why my jeans are too tight! Maybe I should have featured creme eggs as one of my favourites! Damn...

The TMI Tag

Having been bed bound since Friday, I have either been sleeping, watching Netflix, or working on my blog & YouTube channel. Whilst trailing through BlogLovin' looking at fellow bloggers sites, I came across Sian (The English Everygirl) and saw that along with some great reads, she had recently submitted a blog post titled 'The TMI tag'. 

Back in the day, we would fill out questionnaires like this on Bebo, or Facebook, then tag our BFF's to do the same. Feeling a little nostalgic, I thought I would give it a go, and let you all nosey in on some personal details..

1. What are you wearing? My disney PJs. I've been in bed with tonsillitis for the last 4 days. 

2. Ever been in love? I fell in love at 12 years old and at 22 I am still in love with the same person, my future husband. 

3. Ever had a terrible breakup? Kinda, but it ended up all good in the end! 

4. How tall are you? 5" and a half (don't forget the half!)

5. How much do you weigh? 21,120 teabags.
